About us

East Keswick Plant Centre is a family owned and run business which was established in 1989. We supply a large variety of plants, trees and shrubs, hedging and fruit trees. We are also the largest stockiest of Acer Trees in Yorkshire with many specialist varieties as well as the more popular types.

We supply many landscaping items along with compost, top soil and decorative bark. We sell high quality kiln dried logs, coal, kindling and fire lighters.

We sell both to local customers and trade and have built up a high reputation as a quality plant centre you can trust. We are able to offer helpful advice on our products and suggest suitable specimens for your garden. We have many garden sundries in our cabin to enhance your plants and garden for example fertilisers, pesticides and weed control products. Our on site packed bird and pet foods are always popular too.

In the summer we offer a hanging basket filling service where you can bring in your empty baskets or buy new ones from us, and we will make up a stunning design of show stopping bedding plants that will last you right through the season.

From late November through to December we stock a range of high quality Yorkshire grown Christmas trees, including the ever popular Nord-man, soft needles least likely to drop. Our hand made wreaths are available too from the standard traditional, perfect for a grave through to our stunning luxury and contemporary designs with a guaranteed wow factor.

We grow 90% of our plants on site in our very own heated glass house.

The plant centre is always fully stocked with over 100 varieties of shrubs, 200 varieties of herbaceous and perennial plants.

With over 90% of our stock being home grown we can guarantee it will be of excellent quality and very competitively priced.

We are specialist tree growers growing over 100 different varieties of Fruit Trees and more than 200 varieties of Ornamental and Native trees. We supply all customers in the region and also work with local landscapers and gardeners. As we grow most of our own plants and trees we are known to be very competitively priced.
